I drove both and went with the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster. Both great cars but I loved the lines, the finish and the rarity of the Aston. Have had no issues. You should be able to find one of these in your price range.
There are a number of vehicles that would meet my performance criteria, but I want something unique, not something you see everyone and their brother driving. Just like here in Florida, you see Corvettes all over the place, as well as Porsches. I want something different. The Maserati GT and Aston Martin fill those blocks. I'm still leaning towards the Maserati because of the looks, usable back seat, and trunk space. On the other hand, I'm reluctant to spend $70K+ on any vehicle not having any warranty left. I'm guessing that I'd have to find no older than a '14 model to include any remaining factory warranty.
You can get a warranty on any Aston younger than 10 years old by getting it inspected/certified at an Aston dealership and they will do a warranty through them, bumper to bumper even, pretty sure there are 3rd party warranties as well you can buy
Still has to be cleaned up but she's a head turner like I've never seen before. Probably going to be priced around 67k or 68k. Side film will be replaced, full paint correction and Modesta coating will be done as well.

Beautiful! And that shine is pre-paint correction and coating?
I'd get the MC if I were you. I was just in a regular Gran Turismo today and it felt too quiet for my liking but my buddies MC is a screamer for real. The Aston is great, too, but they're not as visceral imo

Yes, sir it is. Goes in Monday of next week for a 2 stage correction and Modesta Coating. Has one ding under the driver door handle I'm going to get worked on by one of the best in the business. It has one wheel mark that has been painted over to mask the mark(done before I got it).
