For sale is a 2008 Mercedes G55, I have owned it about 3.5 years and honestly love it, just like most folks on here starting to get the itch for a change. It has about 64k miles and is in amazing condition. It was in a minor accident back in March of 2017, purely cosmetic on the front end (the vehicle held up as expected going against a Scion xB, I was sitting at a light and the other driver turned out without looking, hit another car and spun into me, as mentioned no suspension or frame damage, 100% cosmetic, just sharing in the interest of full disclosure), and gave me the opportunity to do a full OEM G63 front end conversion in the process.
Modifications to the truck are as follows:
Exterior:
- OEM G63 Front End (Bumper, Grill, Headlights)
- Shaved Rear Tire Mount / Door (filled holes, smoothed, and repainted)
- All Trim Wrapped Black
- 4x4 Style Roof Light Bar (Not Yet Installed)
- Black Powdercoated light guards and running boards
- Full paint correction in May 2019 (40+ hours) and GTechniq Ultra Serum Ceramic Coating (9 year coating)
Suspension/Wheels
- 22x11 Formula Aventerra Revolution (Brushed DDT Finish) - King Adjustable Offroad Shocks - ARB Old Man Emu 50MM Lift Springs - 325/50/22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
Stereo:
- Pioneer AppRadio4
- JL Audio 12TW3 (x4)
- JL Audio C3-650 (x2)
- JL Audio XD1000/1
- JL Audio XD800/8
- Custom Install by Justin Marks at Audition Audio in Cumming, GA
- The stereo has a 3/4'' 2 piece MDF floor that has grills for the subs, so the hatch space is still almost entirely usable, actually gives a wider floor space since the floor goes on top of the wheel well humps. Picture below of me carrying the factory wheels and tires on there with no issues.
Like I said, I love this car and don't need to sell, just seeing if it by any chance chance excites anyone else out there that may be looking for a change.

Here is a video a buddy did of the truck before the front end conversion which has some mic'd up clips of the exhaust (mixed in with some Young Jeezy )
have you checked out the recent sales on ebay and BaT? might help as comps...
I have and am aware the price is definitely higher than most G55s out there. Stock I think the truck is worth $65ish. My goal is finding someone looking for a similarly built truck.
To get a comparable stereo built would be over $12k in equipment and labor, Wheels, Tires, and Suspension work is around $4k, the OEM 63 Front End conversion is over $5k in parts alone (fabricated OEM 63 subframe brace to ensure OEM mounting points, not an eBay conversion), paint work for the conversion plus shaving the rear tire mounts is at least another few thousand. 4x4 light bar and Brabus lip that have not been installed yet was $1500. I know it is hard to get value out of modifications, but there is probably $25k worth of aftermarket work done to this.
As always prices are negotiable, so if anyone is interested in the truck as is, price can be discussed.
I can appreciate shaved reflectors and ect... in this case the rear door tire/cover works either way.
The only thing that rubs me the wrong way, and I suspect maybe other potential buyers might not be into the aftermarket subs, led lighting, and head-unit.
Regardless, these G wagons have an unmistakable presence and just look mean!
