I haven't taken it to any 1/2 mile events. I don't do any drag racing. The car is set up for road driving to maintain it's driveability, and it's a blast to drive.

I know the HCD guys had a Hyper800R (with meth injection and > 750 wHP) at the Wannagofast event but they were restricted to using Cup2s and the track was very slippery. Even the mighty 720 was only able to lay down 5.1s 0-60s. So results weren't great on the first 1/4 mile unfortunately.

 

Still available. I found something else I am interested in. Will sell for $155k firm with stock stealth wheels and Pzeros or $160k firm with Brixtons as shown. Will also include stock front bumper, stock cats, and all other stock parts. Just took it out again today... What an incredible car to drive!

 

Took her out today. SO incredible to drive! So incredibly FRICKIN' FAST! Why do I want to sell this??? Oh yeah... I don't really. But it will make the next owner so incredibly happy! $155k with OEM wheels. I want to keep the Brixtons..

Yes, he went another direction after I turned him down. So the car is still available.

Buy it for $155 with the stock wheels and put some Oz Racing wheels and Toyo R888s on it. It would be a mean track car! I'll put the Brixtons on a 650.

Yup... Still the proud OWNER. What an incredible machine! It will make the next owner very happy. I cannot imagine anything better at this price point. Why do I want to sell it to get a 650 Spider for $40k more after taxes? Pretty much the same car (other than hardtop convertible)... but much slower and more $$$.... Hmm.

Might I suggest the mclaren forums and eBay/cargurus/cars/autorader etc... season is upon us for sports cars for half the nation. Time to get serious in your listings.

Here is some vBox data from one of Hypercar Development's recent builds (not my car) on crappy 91-octane CA Costco gas with 4 cats to keep the noise below 92dB for Laguna Seca's limits.... 5.7s 60-130. Stock is 6.7s. Did 173 mph in the half mile unprepped with Cup2s as well.

 

Darn... What color was your 650? I am looking for one.

 

176.8 MPH in the half mile if catless on MS109. And 5.2s 60-130. Mine has cats to pass CA smog.

 

Can you please post actual vbox data for your car (not questionable numbers that the tuner has released)?
