If you like the look of this thing and it has a proper oiling solution, then you should go check it out. 996TT are great but to really wake them up you'll want a tune, exhaust, suspension, etc. and you end up out 10k. Here you get something more unique with the fun mods already done. I'm sure AL can elaborate as he's had plenty of experience with these cars.
