This is what is called a special wishes slantnose which was produced or modified by Porsches repair facility in Germany. This occurred from 1982-86. These cars have all steel conversions no fiberglass parts. It grew so much in popularity that in 1987 Porsche offered the factory slantnose option. The special wishes cars are nearly identical to factory.

Are you the original owner? Do you have all the documentation by chance or COA to go along with the sale on the special wishes program? Would make for great provenance with the car. Also any details on how many were made with the program and how many were your color combo and options? TIA. Love it!

I believe that I am the third owner. I bought the car out of Utah back in 2009. I tried to get a COA and was even in contact with Porsche out of Stuttgart but eventually gave up. They explained to me that everything back then was done in paper and was very difficult or nearly impossible to trace. There were only 30-45 special wishes cars made each year from 1982-86. So rare indeed. Here is a great article that talks about the history of the slantnose.

Could you provide some more interior pictures as well as the dyno sheet from the rebuild at Patrick. Also, does this still run the stock gears? Thanks!

I can check with Patrick Motorsports to see if they can dig up a dyno sheet. It was a few years ago. I will update with some more interior pics ASAP. The gearing was not altered. It is a 4 speed.
