I am selling my 2003 Porsche 911 (996) Twin Turbo, which I purchased from a popular forum member (Mike - @speedaddict). I visited him in Louisiana and quickly realized he was just as OCD as me, if not more. His workshop, where much of the modification work was done, was spotless. I could also tell from his build posts he was very particular with every modification. To me, this was more important than the actual list of improvements.
The reason I’m selling this car is we’re expecting our first child in August and don’t have space to keep the Porsche if we buy a four-door.
Basics
- 2003 911 Turbo
- 6 speed manual
- 34,950 miles
- Arctic Silver
- Black interior
- 342 Heated Front Seats
- 446 Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
- 692 Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
- AH Black Full Leather
- M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering
- X1 Arctic Silver Metallic Top
- X71 Aluminum Instrument Dials
- XME Rear Ctr Cons Painted Extr Clr
- XPD 3-Spoke Str Whl-Carbon/Leather
- XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest
- Y05 Brake/Shifter Carbon/Aluminum
The previous owner (Mike) installed most of the modifications. From visiting him and speaking with him at length, I have a lot more trust in his work than local shops. I suspect no one will care for your care as much as you, especially if you are borderline crazy about it being perfect.
For anyone interested, I have not had the coolant lines pinned.
Some of the items were purchased used, for example the roll cage, but look new. The retail prices are what I found in my own research. If some are too high or low, that’s my error, but I believe most are spot on.

Condition
With only 34,950 miles, this 996 is in amazing condition. I keep it underground with a cover on it. The interior is in immaculate condition. You really have to see both the exterior and interior for yourself, the photos don’t do the car justice.
Issues
The aftermarket carbon fiber mirrors have discolored, though I have the silver originals. The rear spoiler works fine every time, but periodically throws a dash error. It probably just needs a bleed. Lastly, there is a crack in left taillight.
Emissions
I live in Colorado, so I had to pass emission tests. I have a factory exhaust, O2 sensors and a tune (from Protomotive) to pass emissions. This should be helpful if you’re from a state that also requires catalytic converters and emissions tests.
Photos
If anyone wants to see anything specific, please let me know. I've included a sample of exterior and interior shots below. I have also attached a short video of the car running. The exhaust is downright demonic, which you can hear in the video.

Man, looks like a beauty! Any clear cover (Expel perhaps)? I ask because the paint looks like it's in great condition! You may want to mention if it doesn't have swirl marks, as that speaks volumes to the care!
Are any stock parts available, specifically the stock wheels?
Also, are the rear seats still installed or available? Is the cage easily removable and indiscernible once removed?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, Sparrow.
No Expel, unfortunately. No swirls either, but a few minor stone chips on the lower front bumper as expected for a car of this age.
Yes, stock rear seats, belts, MAF, O2 sensors, exhaust, injectors and a few other minor items. No other major stock items. The cage is bolt-in and easily removed. That said, the cage looks pretty darn cool, even if it doesn't add a lot more protection. It may add a little rigidity though.

Thanks toddco.
Previous posts got most of my questions answered, they were regarding the stock parts. Would you be able to pull a DME? Condition of tires? Any maintenance needed soon? Would you mind sending me contact info as well? Let me know if you’re able to email me through 6speed. If not I can send you my email

I'll fire off some additional questions:
Any carfax blems?
Any known or visible paintwork?
Any notable wear in the interior, like seat bolsters, control *****, center console scratches, etc.?
Any cracks in the carbon fiber bits? (pretty common)?
Track use?
Rear spoiler issues?

Tires are about 4-5k miles old, so still great condition. No major maintenance coming up, but an oil change in the next 1-2k miles. You can send me an email at todsul (at) gmail (dot) co. I'll try to get that DME to you as soon as possible too.

* No CarFax issues.
* Paint is very nice, but some stone chips on front bumper as expected. Very difficult to see since the paint is silver.
* Interior is amazing for age. Dash, seats, and console are immaculate. Some wear on door sills (the rubber/plastic material).
* Interior carbon has absolutely no cracks.
* No track use by me or by previous owners (according to them).
* Rear spoiler works every time, but dash light sometimes comes on. I think it just needs a bleed to solve that.
Hope that helps,
Todd

The car was just professionally detailed and is stored underground with a car cover, which comes with the Porsche. I will be back from overseas tomorrow and will post more interior photos and any other requested info. The miles will stay mostly static from now onwards; will only increase for test drives.
