Regrettably I'm selling my 2009 Porsche Cayman with approximately 28,700 miles. This car is in MINT condition and you will be hard pressed to find a blemish on it. This car was originally put into service in 2010. I have owned this car for 4 years and has been garage kept by myself and at the very least the previous owner. I believe this car has spent its entire life in Florida and therefore no issues with salt, etc. Completely clean carfax with no accidents or damage whatsoever. This car has never been tracked.

Currently covered under a fully transferable extended warranty until late January 2019. Just had the AC Evaporator Housing and Drier replaced with Porsche OEM parts at Foreign Affairs Motorsports in South Florida covered under warranty. Also, had the Cabin Charcoal Filter replaced.

This Cayman has a 2.9L flat six engine that outputs 265HP. It comes with a six speed manual transmission. It is extremely quick and nimble with classic Porsche handling.

For those of you that are not aware, in 2009 Porsche changed Cayman models from 987.1 to 987.2 and with this change came a change to an engine without the IMS bearing. IMS bearings have been known to fail in earlier model Caymans however starting in 2009 this model has been found to be very reliable.

Sorry I've been swamped and haven't been on here lately,

Since I bought her with 17,500 miles I've changed the oil religiously every 3k miles.

I've had the following repairs performed by Foreign Affairs Motorsport, my local Porsche independent specialist.

• shifter cables replaced at 17,900 with Porsche OEM cables
• evaporator housing, reciever dryer, cabin air filter with all Porsche OEM replacement parts

Additionally here is the download for ignitions across the RPM ranges, Clearly she has been babied.

 

Clear title in hand.

Moving soon and selling this car will be one less thing to worry about in the move.
