Beautiful build. Is the front splitter removable quickly or are you just extremely skilled at getting up driveways without scraping? Regardless,, GLWS

You snooze, you lose.

The amount of tire kickers, wanna be buyers and low ballers I went through on this sale was painful.

One lucky guy is getting a 996 deal of the decade.

Perfect timing, now I have a garage spot for the forthcoming new Turbo S.

congrats on the sale- look forward to seeing the new beasts and your impressions. I saw my first 991.2 yesterday and it sounded great and could even here the turbos spooling.

Thanks man....

Picked up the 991. Initial impressions:

It's most certainly a "different level" in every respect. Refinement, luxury, feel, etc. Makes the 996 feel somewhat antiquated. On the road, it's a rocket in stock form. Fast as hell and then docile like a Camry when you want it to be. Definitely quiet for my tastes. The 991 feels very different in the torque, the way it puts the power down and in the fast PDK shifting. Not as fast as the 996 at the moment but close. Just so smooth in the power delivery and gear changes, you're doing go to jail speeds like it's nothing. With another 100hp, it's going to feel a lot faster than the 996. It's also way more stable and forgiving at speed. 120mph in the 996 feels like you're doing 120mph. In the 991, you're just going for a fast cruise. I can't wait to have more sound and power out of the thing. I already have goodies on the way to fix that.

I can tell I'll miss the more raw, analog, visceral feel and sound of the 996. My 996 was a beast and also sounded the business. I'll miss rowing gears. At the same time, I'm comparing a built 996 hot rod to a bone stock modern 991. Apples to oranges.

In summary: Definitely a whole new level with the 991. With that said, you also lose certain characteristics and feel of the older car. Some of what I'll miss. Once the 991 is louder and even faster, I think I'll get over it all pretty quickly though.

Wow that is a nice spec, I’m sure you are going to love it! I just got back from a 3 day1400 mile trip including and do these cars just eat up the miles superbly. Portland to Bay Area have some fun roads in between. I’m sure you are looking forward to similar opportunities. Simple flash/exhaust Is all you may ever need.my 997.2tt had a Sharkwerks cat back and sound good but I longed for something a bit more aggressive.

Were you able to lock down on the sale of your 6tt?

Thanks...yes, yes I am!

Exhaust and tune are all I'm after at the moment. Should be good on this car.

996tt is sold. Dude that can literally walk to my house found it online and bought it. He's giddy like a little school girl at Disneyland. Glad it stayed local and went to a nice car guy who will truly appreciate it. I'll be able to see it from time to time as well.
