Unfortunately between now and the Bringatrailer sale in 2018, it was in an accident and declared a total loss. I purchased it and repaired it, repairs are fully documented, no major unibody damage just a radiator and mounts, fender, headlight and bumper cover, plus lots of expensive plastic bits. GA rebuilt title. The previous owner (who I was able to contact before purchasing it) indicated that it was only totaled because of the nature of his policy, which was sort of an agreed value policy.
It was $50k after fees in 2018, I'm thinking 20% off that puts me at $40k, 25% off is $37.5, so I think $36,500 is a reasonable place to start, but serious offers will be entertained. I understand lots of people don't like rebuilt title cars, let's not pollute the thread with that chatter please. The car isn't an investment anymore, but it's a VERY well mechanically and cosmetically sorted car that you can own and drive (often and hard) with pride or build into a monster or track car as you see fit.
Partial trades considered for manual M cars, manual Porsches or other fun manual things (see a theme?)
Feel free to message me for more info boulware @ gmail.com or 678-642-246zero. Photos of the car post-accident and some pictures of the repair process showing solid structure behind the FR fender and radiators. There was NO suspension involvement in the accident AT ALL. All parts were new/used Porsche with the exception of an OE Behr radiator. Paint was done by a high end shop local to me, the rest of the work was done by me personally (former race mechanic and current aerospace engineer).
Thanks,
Chuck
