Finally getting back to a 996TT - On the hunt!!
Been about 9 years since I last owned a 996TT and now I've made the decision to find one. If you know of a no-stories, clean example, please PM me.
do you have a budget or mileage requirements?
My primary requirement is NO BLACK PAINT and mileage requirement is simple - Fewer the better. I'm shopping less than $50K, Less than $40K would be even better.
PPI is mandatory and I'd prefer a no stories clean car. Those who remember me from years ago know I know these cars well, as I authored a lot of DIY project articles back then, doing tons of work on my own car and helping others in my shop over the five years I owned mine.

With that budget you can forget about a 14k mile TT. Probably looking at 35 to 45k miles, which still makes for a great car. Being that you can do your own work (I'm jealous)
you can get a car in need of some work.

I never built my car for the texas mile. I tracked it and that was the extent of it. I’m a road course racer and not a straight line guy. Looking forward to buying the right clean 996TT. I’ve got a line on two, both with around 65K miles, both manual, and both in great condition for less than $40K. Time will tell. Can’t wait to close a deal.
They're out there and since OP can wrench it's even better and he can do his own PPI. He's a road course racer so he'll be looking for a near stock example.
