Description:

Selling as is, where is (New Hope, PA 18938). Car drives great and has a clear standard PA title. Engine and Transmission numbers match what was delivered from the factory.

It's the black metallic version of the 1980 Weissach Edition. 78,500 original miles. It's not a stock car mechanically, the CIS has been replaced with Weber 46IDA carbs with Crank Fire Ignition and Exhaust with SSI's and Dansk single outlet Sport Exhaust. Sounds amazing and great throttle response. Most of the parts are original - that includes all the body panels, wheels, engine case, transmission and interior. Engine got a full stock rebuild in 2016 and has 53 hours/1,065 miles since then. At that same the car was gone over and mechanicals and cosmetics addressed to make it a safe and fun driver as noted in the list below and linked photo album. Heat Backdated and AC Removed. Car is huge fun to drive.

Items included with car:
New Sunroof Seals
New Front and Rear Window Seals
Removed Center Console
Steering Wheel - needs reconditioning
Factory Foglights
All removed parts (AC System, etc)

Needs:
Paint or a wrap - it looks "ok" at a distance but has a track quality (poor) paint job now that has significant defects and imperfections. Don't let the digital pictures fool you.
Driver's side mirror is loose at the swivel joint and needs to be removed and addressed.
Ride height is track level - it's low! Many might want to raise it for everyday street use.
Driver's side seat needs leather repair to the welting (it's gone on the bolster). I'd suggest sending out both seats for a full redo.
Some minor oil leaking from lack of use. It's not an immediate must fix but eventually should be addressed (or the car driven more often!)
Carbs seem to have developed some character at idle (minor pops) and should be looked at.
Front air dam rubber has seen better days.

Buy it, drive it without worry of stone chips - that has been my strategy. Or paint it and redo the front seats to have a mechanically excellent restored impact bumper 911 with a rare color combination and unique rear factory spoiler...

Thanks. The long block is stock and was rated at 180HP new. The SSI and Sport Exhaust add real HP and Torque. The Carbs are for throttle response and classic Porsche sound but don’t add much if anything with stock cams. The performance magic of the car is the relatively light weight and small diameter tires.

I’ll see if I can make this event - it is only 1 mile from my house
