Kenwood and Eclipse are excellent units. Both have touch screen. Eclipse is easier to install w DVD, CD drives all built into the HU. BT add on can be added for extra $$. Not sure about ipod interface.
The new Pioneer AVIC-Z1 is awesome -- 7" inch touch screen, 30GB hard drive, plays DVD movie...it has just about everything one would need. Check it out.

NEITHER!!!! Those are the old DVD based ones....The new one is the KNA-G510...It has maps loaded in memory and it is updated via SD card. It is about $600 street price vs. $1100 of the older ones and it has 2d/3d maps PLUS traffic capabilities so it shows traffic conditions as well as navigation....Thats the one to get. I would get the DDX 7017, the 8017 has surround sound and thats not an interest I have....
