A lot of BS bidders on eBay with no mula. I would get that persons information and send them to collections. You can get the full name and address from eBay. Present the information to the collection agency and let them screw up the ebayers credit!

It's next to impossible to get Ebay to give you any personal contact information. They will give you the email address and that's it, unless you have a subpoena or are law enforcement.

I sold a lot of cellphones on ebay at one time, sheesh, you'd not believe the emails you get.... "I'm in Nigeria and my boss in Japan has asked me to buy this phone and send it to him in Singapore using my french credit card... I'll pay you double and you wire me the difference via western union and ship the phone overnight"

Ebay is a cesspit and PayPal is just downright fraudulent, the sooner they go down the better.

Anyway, nice car, hope you manage to sell it before too long.
It deserves a good home !

I think all that gets you is the email address. I've used that form many times and never got a personal USPS address.

Unless they have changed recently, it takes a law enforcement letter head as a minimum to get a USPS address.

EDIT : I just looked up one of the old ones I did a while back. It gives this information :

Contact Information for xxxxxx :

User ID: xxxxxx
Name: xxxxxx
Company:
City: north hollywood
State: CA
Country: United States
Phone: (818) xxxxxx

Simon,

They give you the actual billing address associated to the users credit card verification info.

OK, I'm confused..............So did the winner back out, or did you decide not to sell it to the winning bidder?

If the winning bidder held up his end, wouldn't you be legally obligated to sell it for the highest bid as I believe it was a no reserve auction?
