That EVO intake looks completely different from the one I had, is this some sort of new one ?

Mine looked like this :

http://www.evoms.com/marketplace/Vie...8DD63F61315%7D

Is it really EVOMS or some other vendor ?

looks like they modified it a little bit. I purchased it about a year and a half ago from Todd at EVOMS.

Dumb question having not seen under my stock shifter before but, what is the benefit of the billet shift linkage? Crisper shifts, less play, better feel? Will it fit a '04 GT3? Interested..

Yes it will fit your GT3. The upgrade is to prevent the stock one for breaking. Since the stock one is plastic, under hard shifting, the stock piece is notorious for breaking and leaving your car stranded.

Alex,
If you want to see one in the Bay Area, my old style intake is installed. We could meet at Sharkwerks.
