Thinking of Selling/Trading HRE 545Rs.

I bought Divvextremes old 18" HRE 545Rs. I like them but I'm really thinking of going to a mesh style wheel. If anyone has something aftermarket, in 18", to do a straight trade please let me know. I would also trade for stock hollow spoke 996TT wheels plus cash. Thanks.

Ignacio

Any pics?

Would you consider factory 18" GT3 style wheels for the Turbo on exchange?

JJB: Sorry but I don't have pics of the wheels on my car. You may look for pictures of Divextremes car. Are these the wheels from a Turbo S or the ones off the GT2? They may be the same I'm not sure. If they are from the GT2 would I have trouble fitting these on the rear of my car when I eventually lower my car?

The wheels are 545Rs. Sorry about that mix up.

I couldn't edit the original title.

Would these fit a 993tt without any issues?

--Jamie

We should talk. I just bought a 993tt but the po took off the original wheels cause they were chrome. He put 996tt style turbo wheels which I don;t like.

jamie: They should since most wheels between the 996TT and 993TT are interchangeable. My HREs are 18x8 and 18x11 so they'll fit without a problem.

These are Turbo sized wheels

It is a multi-spoke design that they used on the GT3 in 2004 and 2005 and was also used on the very few 2004 GT2's produced. They became an option in 2004 on the C4S and Turbo models and are a factory wheel built in factory wheel sizes. You will have no issues should you choose to lower your car at a later date.

I can snap some pictures of them and get them to you. Can you possibly do the same of your wheels? Do they have any belmishes? How are the tires? What kind of cash difference would you propose if you like them. Feel free to e-mail or send me a PM.

JJB: Thanks for the information. There are some blemishes on the wheels but I'll post some pictures. I am just looking to sell/trade the wheels but not the tires. The tires only have 2000 miles on them so I'm keeping them.

I purchased these as an extra set of wheels/tires and they came off of a 2004 Turbo Cab with 2200 miles on it. We could have both of our tires broken down and just exchange wheels if you would perfer since you know the condition of your tires. I am interested but would like to know what blemishes are on the wheels. What finish is on them (paint, polish, chrome)? I have not been able to find pictures from the previous owner.

How do the HREs compare in weight to the OEM hollow spokes? How much cash do you propose for a trade against the OEMs? If you can post pics that would help. Thanks.
