Kamil 77 is infamous around these parts
question - what makes the Club Coupe unique?
Deletion of some parts for weight savings?

Having owned several rare Porsches over the years, you could ask that question about any of them. This particular model was an apprecaition to all the members of the Porsche Club and was only avialable to them. Porsche decided to offer the X51 package as a freebie as well as other sport options. This was suppose to be the "luxury" GT3 car.

Bottom line, since the cars are numbered, I am sure they will be similar to other number cars, i.e. US Carrera Cup.

To get all the specifics, you can "google" Club Coupe.

I think all the 997S s have a 3.8ltr, but the X51 is the package that adds extra horspower and torque. There is a great article about the X51 and the Club Coupe in the Excellence magazine, It explains why the Club Coupe is special and details the performance of the X51 package.
