Feeler: 2005 997 911 Carrerra Coupe w/lots of options
you guys are probably right. that is partly why the car was listed as a feeler too. he was not sure if he wanted to spend the money to fix it. we figured, if he takes the money off the sales price at least the person who buys the car gets to see what he/she is buying. but i guess you guys are right, might as well, fix everything, and then put it back on the market. it is amazing how bumper damage makes people draw all sorts of conclusions.
on a separate note, just because the car has bumper scratches does not mean that it is not garaged. i live in the city and my cars are always garaged (at home) and there is always new nicks every time you park on the street (which you almost have to do) every time you go some place.

No hard feelings, I hope - really just trying to help you out by giving good constructive criticism. I understand about the garaged/not garaged situation and didn't intend to come off like I was jumping to that conclusion. I'm lucky enough to work at a place where we have plenty of covered garage space, so I can avoid parking lot/street parking dings/scratches.

it is not a matter of work and home garaging, it is a matter of city life. i always end up parking at a meeter, on the street, in someone's drive way etc., when you go to a restaurant, store etc. etc. and it seems that in the city everyone is out to get your car. on one of my previous cars, someone keyed the side in a enclosed garage. i have had someone key a different vehicle yet at my job. of course the usual bump and grind parking jobs that are commonplace in the streets of chicago. most people really dont care about their own cars let alone other people's cars...
