If you don't get the carrera you'll regret it. But I say wait for the 08 to hit and the 05-07s will hit another depreciation peak.

Wait til you have more funds. Don't get something you are not completely satified with.

If status is important, get the 911, if hard driving is more important, save a few bucks and get the Cayman S. Also how long are u planning on keeping the car? I hate to have cars out of warranty!!

Carrera, those Caymans have plumetted for a reason. I think they are nice cars but not in the same league as the 997. Options are not worth buying a lesser car for IMO (i have learned that lesson the hard way)

Buy the Cayman S then , use the rest for a supercharger..then race a 997 , see if it can keep up....

Damn, i was waiting for a response like this...

I'll get the Carrera if you need the backseat, if you track a lot, CaymanS

I m not planning on track the car. so I decided to go with Carrera.. I drove both cars yesterday and Cayman just felt like a toy car. nice toy car... But Carrera felt comfortable and had power...
