Feeler: Nav. System (pcm1)

Hi,

I have a Nav. syst. removed from a 04 TT silver face with disc. No amp. I want to sell but don't know the fair market price.

Will this work on an '03 tt without NAV? If so, what is required to make it function properly?

You need to remove the radio and the slots below to make the syst. fits. Also, you need to get a fiber optic amp.

Don't 2003 and after cars have the MOST bus, and isn't that fiber optic?

Also, is there any antenna that is needed for the GPS?

Okay 2004 is not PCM I, its PCM II and yes you can Install in a Car With-Out Nav... Since this is out of a 2004 it will only work with "MOST" Systems, thats 996 MKII 2003-2005...

Here is a Link to the DIY http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7068

All the parts are listed which needed to do the Install, the parts are about $250-$300...

I did this in my car... The Car the PCM II came out of had BOSE and my car which the PCM II was going in to had BOSE too... i dont if that matters...
