dang, I think the dealership sold you a load of B.S. The only seats that come out of the CGT are the ones in the pic attached. The ones you have are the ebay ones. That type of seat (996 gt3) don't have carbon fiber, and are usually FRP and if oem, would have the Porsche crest.

 

I ve never seen these seats in my life...are they GT3 seats? I ve seen plenty of CGT on ebay with seats i have, just in leather, not alcantra

 

The seats on your car are replica 996gt3 seats, not CGT seats. CGT seats are the ones in the picture I attached. Basically what i'm saying is the dealership told you that your seats were oem Cgt seats when in fact they are the furthest thing from a genuine CGT seat since they aren't even the same design. I'm not calling you naive or anything, I just genuinely want to help you understand what you have on your hands just like when you thought your wheels were HRE's and I told you they were Work Brombachers.

 

I believe that all of the gt3 seats are made by RECARO that should be stamped on the back of the seats as well as stickers on the bottom. If your seats say RECARO I will buy them. Let me know. -Stefen
