My understanding is that GT3's share the same offsets as a narrowbody car. So they should fit. However, call Champion 954) 946-4020, they will know.

do you have a pic of the minor bend? is it on the inside or outside of the rim?

is the cut back tire holding air ok, or does it need replaced?

 

Does anyone know whether the rear will fit a 987 boxster?

 

The bend is on the outside and barely visable.

The tire does not hold air (it is a gash) and needs to be replaced.

 

I don't know about the 987's, but I just tried them on a 986 Boxster this weekend and they fit, however, they rubbed the spring perch on the shock tower. A spacer would solve this, but then they might stick out a bit.

Basicly, if they were a 1/2 inch narrower, there would be no problem.

 

There have been alot of questions asking whether the wheels will balance correctly and also about shipping.
To address these concerns I have added the following to the original post:
I have made arrangements for a local wheel shop to pack and ship them. They will charge $200 anywhere in the US. They will also check the wheels on their balance machine before they send them out.
