Who's got some straight pipes FS?
Trust me it was a big difference in feel. The pedal feel felt dead and light, like there was no juice to be had, torque down low was very noticeable, and my car made great power from those k16's too.
Whtever you do keep the psi, dont sell it. When you finally put he exhast back on, that smile will be priceless trust me

Trying to lose some weight Jenk.
joyride, that is enticing as I love the power up top, but I've grown attached to the low end power and torque of the TT. I'm going to try the straights, and if I dont like the feel of it, the straights will just be for the track and I'll throw the PSI back on for the street.

DO ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT,YES.
I did a set of FVD's with no cats,, OK its FN loud, but I love it, I will not go back..........ever. Keep in mind it will blow codes with no cats.Mine doesn't because my tuner programmed it out.

My brotha, it's not the sound, but rather the driving dynamics throttle wise I didn't like, you need to drive a car with K16's and straight pipe's, Drew's!
I was just kidding, not scared one bit, conquering a GT2 means you are THERE, and that's where I want to be.
I dont think you know what you're getting into.......
I might get hooked on it and you not get it back....

What weight-loss options do you have? Be aware that many of the tracks are getting more restrictive on sound levels (I got busted at Barber last year). If you make this move, I would take my existing exhaust as backup. It's always louder in the mornings when the air is thinner. Word of advice, don't go through the museum turn at Barber alone in the morning session.
I have a lot of options, but from here on out, most of them involve cutting or replacing body parts etc. The exhaust is the one area that will really benefit the balance of the car by taking substantial weight from the back.
But taking the other exhaust as backup is a great Idea.
