Lon, that is a steal on the EVO CAI. I posted the info on Rennlist. I wish I still needed one. I'm sure I will be doing the same when I finally upgrade to the SC. If you wouldn't mind sending me a pm regarding how you deal with the CA smog issue, I would appreciate any advice.

FYI; It does fit. It's the same unit, you simply don't use the air pump relocation bracket. It's a steal you should jump on it!

The EVO CAI on my 99 996 came off a 997 Carrera S....they are interchangeable. The mounting bracket to secure the CAI to the body was about $15.
