I believe you would have to change the fronts to 235/40/18 if want to go with the wider rears.

Yes, they are for BOTH tires. I got them while they were on sale a few months ago, so I am passing on the savings. Given they are $429 each now at Tirerack, this is a pretty good deal for someone.
