You should remove the leather and have it dyed black.

I thought about it since black is more common, but I'm not sure how the leather pieces come off and I don't want to mess it up.

I don't think it will fit a 996tt, sorry.

Hi,
Yes, this will work on a non multifunction car. I had one put on my car which did not have multifunction from the factory. All I had to do was bring it to the dealer and they turned on the function. Installation is very easy and only took me 30 minutes max. I will include complete instructions. Thanks!

That is a nice wheel, don't be changing the color. Someone with a stone gray interior will eventually come along wanting it.

I was not aware that all cars were wired for the MF wheel, and only needed to be programmed to implement it with a MF wheel. My understanding was that Porsche wiring is tailored to the options, so if you don't order the MF wheel, the steering column isn't wired for it. Is this not the case?

Good luck with the sale. Be patient for the right buyer looking for it.
