sport exhaust wiring kit for 02+ 996s

I had a 2003 C4s and put in an OEM porsche sports exhaust. I never did install the button on the dash with all the wiring to turn the thing on/off. The sport exhaust sold with the car, but I still have all that other stuff that came in the kit. Make me a reasonable offer and its yours.

Sorry PM didn't go through due to load post numbers. I'm interested in this kit. Do you know if I can make it work for a '99. I have a set of PSEs on the way and was hoping I could find someone who never installed their electronics. Haven't checked on prices yet and don't want to insult you, what would you sell the kit for? Thanks. Greg racer0803@comcast.net

hi, I don't know for sure if it works on a '99, but I would tend to think so since dash and basic muffler layout is the same. carnewal.com is selling this kit new for 150 Euro, or about $220 brand new. Mine is new too, but since I have no use for it, I'm thinking around $140 or so? I have to check this weekend that I still have all the parts as they are shown in the carnewal site.

sorry, we had a huge amount of rain today due to the storm and the garage is detached and I didn't get a chance to go out there. Will definitely do it tomorrow.

well I found the box and it has a lot of stuff in it, but I don't see the actual switch on the dash. It includes a sealed bag labelle 996.612.978.00 with relays and wiring and a bunch of vacuum hoses and hardware. See below. I will try to look for the switch on the dash, but I don't think I have it.

If anyone wants this based on the description, let me know.

ok roadster doc, I found another part, a big black plastic expansion chamber #993.110.140.03 that came with the kit, but no switch that I can see.

I'm asking $110 for everything. First PM to respond gets it

Potxoli,

I'd still like to buy the kit. I'd hope that you sell it to me since I first responded to the post. This is the first chance I've had to check the forum today as I've been working at the hospital all day. Please let me know. Your original asking price if fine with me with or without the switch. Just let me know so that I can order one if I need to. Thanks.

racer08, roadsterdoc had already paypal'ed me the funds when you posted this. Sorry about the mix up, I feel bad, but only have one of these and roadsterdoc was online today to PM me for info...

try the carnewal.com place. I've had great luck with gert and the euro is getting softer. if you factor in the price of the switch you are not too far off...
