***EVERYTHING SOLD****

I have a GIAC flashloader for sale. $125 OBO. Should work on all cars with OBD plug that run GIAC software. Does not include Software!

I have a factory MAF for a 996TT. May fit other cars as well but it was purchased for my TT.

I had this as a spare but just switched over to the Hitachi MAF with my EVOMSit software and thus have no use for this any longer.

Part number: 996 606 12400 (Air Mass Sensor-Bosch)

MFR. date (I believe that's what this is) is 5/20/08

SEALED BOX

First $275 takes it-shipped to your door via UPS or FedEx ground.

Available immediately!

Thanks! So far the software is running smoothly. Still need to let it run/learn a bit but my first impression is that I'm getting a bit more boost, sooner in the range. Have to drive it some more to get the whole story...

Good to hear!.. How long have you been running RWD?

RWD for about 6 months or so. I love it and wouldn't go back. Once I added adjustable sways and had the car corner balanced (after removing front differential), it started working really, really well... I've had it out to the track and I loved the way it felt. I'm sure it could be better but it's enough for me, for now. Eventually I may do a LSD and start changing out the rubber bushings, etc... but I'll wait until I feel I really need to... Too many other items that I'll enjoy and use more at this point.

Traction is typically not an issue as I'm at about 600hp crank and I always keep good rubber on the car (PS2's on 19's for the street and R888's for track in 18's). I run with PSM off in the canyons and on the track...

What is the advantage of the Hitachi? My car is in the shop, so I may just need that MAF!

The Hitachi MAF is an Evolution Motorsports upgrade. You must run their programming for it to work (EVOMSit). I just had it installed and moved from GIAC/EVO Stage 4+ to my current setup which is the same hardwear with an upgraded MAF and new programming. So far, so good!

The Stock MAF was my backup as I had an older Evo Intake that I hadn't applied the latest updates to so I had blown a MAF or two in the past.

The MAF for sale is ready to go if you need it. The dealer will charge you about $450 for this part so beware!!! If you do need to replace it, source your own and install it yourself...it's cake!

I take Paypal and can ship however you prefer (in case you need it overnighted). Shipping is on you but I'll obviously only charge you what I pay.

Good luck! Hopefully you don't need it!

Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills wants $700+ for a Maf.

Bottomline HMAF is a must if you start modding your turbo. I blew 6 before switching to the Hitachi

That's ridiculous for a MAF but I'm never surprised, especially with dealerships... This is one of those parts that Porsche dealers put their kids through college on...

Is the flashloader VIN specific? If so--how do you get it changed(presuming you can)? Can it be used on programs other than GIAC?

Sorry, I've been out of town for the weekend. It is not VIN or even Porsche specific. It only works with GIAC I believe but I could be wrong.

If you are running GIAC or will be running it, you can pick this up and it should work flawlessly. You can call them to confirm. They retail for much, much more than I am selling this for FYI...
