The rollbar will not fit in a 996TT correct? I remember someone saying the 996 version fit in the 997, so I was not sure if it was backwards compatible.

 

Powell, this has a p/n unique to 997s, so I would say no, it will not fit 996TT.

 

What is the difference between these seats and the OEM 996 GT3 seats? I ask because Suncoast is selling 996 GT3 for $2600 for a set?

These are the OEM GT3 seats in europe, but not in the USA. Outside of US you could also spec your GT3 with the standard and sport seats that we got on the USA cars. The tequipment rollbar, these seats and harnesses are part of the clubsport package, a no-cost option in ROW markets. The clubsport package also includes a fire extinguisher.

Jason, I just checked the Suncoast website and you're right, they do have them for $2595.00 for the pair. But, I'm not entirely positive that they come with the brackets and sliders, although the one pic on their site does show the seats with brackets/sliders.
