Hey everyone,

I've decided to let this wing go. It's beautiful. Here are some pics. I bought it from GMG just a few months ago. Nothing wrong with it, just turning my car into a race car and need to go with what they will allow me to run (not this, in other words). You'll be happy.

GMGs price is $3400. I'll sell this one for $2500. Again, it's just a few months old, has all the plugs you have to buy, and has OEM grill screens added to the intake holes. Ready to prep, paint, and install.

After posting in another thread that I am going to hold on to this wing, I have actually (for the moment) decided to sell it. It is already disassembled and securely boxed up at Synergy Racing in Alton, VA.

Do you know if this will fit a 996TT ?

 

I know that it will not. I'm sorry. 997 and 996 wings have different trailing angles going down to the bumper. I think that it would look sweet on a 996TT though!

I will say that it came from GMG with a bit of a cloudy spot on the carbon on the bottom side of the wing, so it's not noticeable. I saw it before it was mounted and didn't care. I just remembered that though.

 

Totally. I posted this thing for sale on Rennlist and got responses from "non-turbo/GT cars don't need wings" to "that wing is too huge!"

I don't get that. I think it's gorgeous.

I want that wing but no ends haha forget the rennlisters, they're so dang traditional over there. I love coming here to the 6 and getting positive comments for mods rather than, "that's not oem, blasphemy!"
