Hello, yes, it is a tranny mount kit. 3 Part and 4 bolts. Complete and not as notchy as the B+M cabin mount kits.

Funny you ask this. The reason I am taking it off is that I bought a B+M and had no idea this was on the car. It works fine but it seems redundant. Only reason I am taking this one off rather than the B+M is that the B+M unit involves replacing parts that I don't have anymore

I guess my question is, would adding this part FURTHER reduce the b&m's travel. I have the b&m installed and cant fathom that it can be much shorter.

Na, there was no difference. The B+M is quite short.
