what exactly am i venting out of the hood?

what is this constructed from? benefits over stock?? etc. fitment???

Carbon Fiber. Just gives the 997 a more classic look. Never put it on the car, but Gemballa is one of the more prestigious Porsche tuners out there.

Do you happen to know if the fitment would be exact or do you think it needs adjustment to fit like the OEM hood?

There are a few individuals with Gemballa hoods on the board and they look like they fit perfect. I would hope for $3500 it would fit like OEM.
