FS: 996 GT3 MKI Replica Wing - Painted Guards Red
FS: 996 GT3 MKI Replica Wing - Painted Guards Red
For sale:
GT3 MKI fiberglass replica wing. This wing has the same proportions as the factory wing. It's been on the car for 2 years, but now I am returning the car to stock. The wing is ready to be installed directly on a Guards Red car. All the hardware from your original decklid completes the install. I made the changes to my original wiring harness, but you can buy a new wiring harness if you prefer. The wing has 2 small, barely noticable, hairline cracks of about a half inch on the left upright. If you're repainting (most people will since red isn't that common of a color compared to black and silver), it will be very easy for the shop to eliminate them. Shipping from Houston. As a reproduction, it's not as perfect as a factory wing, but it's a fraction of the cost and the chicks dig it: $650 or best offer.

It's on a MKII car in those pictures. I'll post another pic to show it.

Sure, a local pickup is a lot easier than boxing it up for me.
Here's the MKII.

The people that did the painting could have done a better job on the finish. No one notices, but me. But if you are going to repaint for a color change, than that's not an issue. On the plus side, when I compare it to a factory wing, I can't see any difference in the shape, which is impressive.
My plan to switch cars has changed and I am going to keep the 996 and invest a little more into it.
I have a GT3 RS C/F wing on order, which will replace the taco, but I think I might still keep the taco. The taco has grown on me, and it's really easy to switch out wings based on mood.
What I will do is survey the chicks and see which one they like the best. Let's be honest -- Porsche ownership is all about the chicks.
