Just trying to get to my 15 posts so I'll comment

+1 on Steve's statement - if all of us were "rich" would we be driving 5-10 year-old Carreras? Personally I'd be driving to my local dealer to trade mine in on a 997.2 GT3.

Many of us entered into the Porsche stratosphere by finding good deals on 996s, 964s, etc. due to their relatively depressed market value...and I don't buy into this "don't drive a Porsche if you can't afford one" BS either. Spending $2-3K on required service on a 996 vs. a similar amount on wheels are two different things entirely.

All that said, believe me - if I had the $$ I'd be all over this deal.

This is a awesome deal if this combo will fit your car. Seems like this is the perfect set up of 996 wide body and Turbo guys. I love the look of the wheels too and you can't go wrong with Fiske wheels! I would have jumped all over these if they fit my 09 Carrera S but Fiske says they will not and the tire sizes are wrong for me too. Dang it!

I got really confused with the offset of these wheels. 05-09 Carrera S/GT3 cars can use an offset of 50-57mm front and 52-67mm rear...this is where I get confused compared to the offset of these wheels

 

Been getting offers for them with no tires.

So I got a new deal now for the wheels with no tires for $400 less.

Also makes them easier to ship now.
