F/S - Black Fikse Race wheels

They are off a 2007 GT3 but will fit other years and even 996 NB if
you go with either smaller tires in the front and or adjust the camber settings.

-2.5 front and -2.0 rears.

There is plenty of room and it has been done before.

check out Steve's thread:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996/160264-997-gt3-wheels-996-nb-pic.html

He goes into great detail about how GT3 wheels will fit on a NB.

specifications are

fronts
18x9.5 +44 offset

rears
18x12 +64 offset

================================================
Tires are as shown 265 fronts, 315 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cups.

Price is $3K for the set or possible trade for seats + cash.
Looking for late sport seats or aftermarket fixed backs

Local pick up is preferred but can ship at buyer's expense.

If you run narrower tires they should fit a 996TT.

Check out the thread I have listed in the first post Steve went to great details about putting on GT3 wheels on his car.

Also dialing in more camber helps alot as it pulls the top of the tire in more.

OK did some research on the NB applications and this is what I came up with:

Narrow body
fronts 18x9 ET 35mm offset will have front spacing 3.47 / 6.25 backspacing
rears 18x11 ET 55mm offset will have front spacing 3.71/ 8.04 backspcing

Mine are:
fronts 18x9.5 ET 44mm offset will have front spacing 3.5/6.75 backspacing
rears 18x12 ET 64mm offset will have front spacing 4.00/8.75 backspacing

I don't race, but I track my car a lot. I think that based on the time of year, and current economy the price is a little high. People with the money to buy want super deals, not good deals like you are offering.

Is that a fancy way of saying people with money are cheap?

The Pilot Sport Cup tires are full tread and just the four tires alone would be $1600. So with that in mind I am selling the wheels for like less than $1500.

But I'll take your advice on what you said and lower the price to $2799
for the set or $2699 cash pick up.

So the rich guys with money can get a better deal

Any lower than that and I will just keep them because you will never find a set of four 18" Fikse wheels for the price of less than the cost of one new one.

People with money (in a general sense) feel that they can or should get better treatment. Look at most movie stars, then never want to pay for anything.

I know that MPSC are pricey and worth it IMO, and as I said I thought it was a great deal for these wheels and tires.

I am sure that your new pricing will help with the sale.

They are very nice wheels, some one will have a great set of light weight durable wheels for an excellent price.

At this price does it really matter if they are Profil 10's or Profil 5S's?

BTW I had Profil 10's before

The Profil 5S are better wheels:
1) less spokes to clean

2) doesn't have that funny gap in between the spokes
showing the lip sections

3) The Profil 5S are lighter

Fikse wheels

Looks like a nice set of wheels. Have a few questions regarding them but since I don't have 15 posts yet I couldn't send you a pm!! I have a definitive interest in the wheels so if you would send me a pm with your phone info I will give you a call to discuss further.
Thanks, Fred
