Hey guys, I am clearing out my garage. I have a pair of front OEM Porsche floor mats for a Porsche 997 Carrera coupe or cabriolet, Boxster, or Cayman. THESE ARE FOR CARS EQUIPPED WITH THE OPTIONAL OEM BOSE AUDIO SYSTEM. They were used for about 2300 miles and are almost new, as shown in the pics. They are black in color with siver-embossed "Porsche" on the side.


They retail for about $170. I'm asking $75 + s/h.

FItment: It is my understanding that these mats fit not only the 997 Carrera, but also the Boxster and Cayman. Exception: If you do NOT have a Bose sound system whose amps take up some of the front passenger footwell (997 cab, Targa, Cayman, etc.), you WILL need a different shape front passenger mat.

I would take them, but from looking at your pics, those are for cars WITHOUT the Bose sound system. I have a 987S w/ Bose and the passenger floor mat looks different to make space for the sub....just FYI.

 

Hmmm.... Well, I never had a 987 Porsche, but these mats came out of a 997 Porsche Carrera WITH Bose that I recently owned, and they fit perfectly in my car for the couple thousand miles that they were in the car, so I would have to say you're wrong, based on my experience with my car that they came out of...

To clarify, Bose-equipped Cabs and Targas have the subwoofer in the front passenger footwell, so those carpets are much narrower. Bose-equipped coupes have the subwoofer in the rear, so those carpets are wider. If you had them in a 997 coupe, then they won't fit a 997 cab or Targa.
