I have some X-cellerator exhaust systems that were used for testing and therefore can not be sold as new. They have anywhere from 25-200 miles on them and are in like new, perfect condition. Both 2.5 quiet and 3.0 loud are available. This is an opportunity to own a high end, high-flow system (either with cat bypass or 100 cell cats) for a fraction of the new price. For those that are not familiar with this system, it utilizes a V-flange component system for quick and easy swaps between the various configurations, which include cat w/ muffler, cat w/straight pipe, no cat (cat bypass pipes) w/ muffler, no cat (cat bypass pipes) w/ straight pipes. This allows you to reduce weight and back pressure for top performance at track events and quickly switch back to a normal street set-up when you are finished. And it's very quick and easy to do. Optional components can be added at any time.

Additionally, the cross-flow sound is well documented as being the best sound you can get on a 911TT. To give you an idea of the sound, I ran across a Ferrari F430 yesterday at a toll booth and we took off together. The Speedtech cross-flow sound was similar in nature and didn't give up anything to the Ferrari! I feel confident this is the last exhaust you will ever want for your 996TT.

I can do catless exhaust (race), 100 cell cat exhaust (street) or complete system with cats, cat bypass pipes, muffler bypass pipes, etc. - these special sale systems will be a great deal. Please PM me for details. Some pictures below...

Mark,

It works for me and I just tried it from a remote computer and it worked there, as well. It's a large file, maybe you need to give it a little more time to load? I think it's a good link...

aroonkl,

I sent you a PM, as requested.

yep, it works now, thanks! the exhaust sounds fantastic! have you done any testing in terms of flow with a crossover exhasut like this? Conventional thinking would lead me to believe that the exhaust gases running into each other would rob a ton of power. what are your findings? thanks John

Thanks and yes, I agree, the cross-flow design produces a wonderful sound! The principal of the cross-flow exhaust is that when a cylinder fires it is forced out the exhaust. This creates a vacume in it's trail, which helps pull the next cylinder exhaust out quickly. The cycle infinitely repeats and makes for very efficient flow. We have not done a back to back comparison to compare to other style exhausts, but there is every indication that the design works well. When I switched from a traditional 200 cell cat exhaust to the X-flow 100 cell cat exhaust, I noticed quicker turbo spool, improved throttle response and what felt to be an overall increase in power with a crisper feel all around. I believe a lot of has to do with the more effecient 100 cell cats, but when you combine these attributes with the exotic sound the cross-flow produces, it's like "ding, ding - we have a winner". Personally, I love the cross-flow performance and the sound is awesome! Having used our cross-flow for a while now, I strongly prefer it to a conventional design.
