FS:CCW C10s w/Toyo R888s

Guys, I have a DON'T MISS opportunity. I am selling a wheel & tire package including a set of 1-PIECE FORGED CCW C10s in powdercoat finish, complete with Toyo R888s mounted and ready for track-day or extreme good weather street use! I am asking $2500 o/bo. The rear tires have between 2-3 32nds of tread left, PLENTY for a handful of track days, or a couple thousand miles of GOOD WEATHER street use. Definitely jump on this deal before the end of the season so you can enjoy them! The front tread is even deeper. (see photos in 2nd post)

The wheels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no bends, breaks, lip scratches. they need to be cleaned a little, but no repair necessary. They run 18x9 (et 50) & 18x10 (et 35), and the tires are 245/40/18s & 275/35/18s.

I have personally run these tires at one track event, and on the street for about 1000 miles. The amount of grip my 997C2S holds around u-turns/on-ramps is INCREDIBLE compared with even my Nitto Invos, which I LOVE more than any street tire I've used.

See the attached pics, and email me if you're interested at njcarguy1077@yahoo.com, or call my cell phone (732) 687-5415. I am sure these won't last long! As with the Sparco Evo2 Plus seat and the MBSL550 wheels I have for sale (search my threads in this forum), these are available PREFERRABLY for a local buyer, someone who can pick up in Red Bank, or meet somewhere within 100 miles of zip 07701. If shipping is required, I will ask buyer pays all shipping and packaging fees.

Thanks.

Ohan

Fitment includes: Boxster/Boxster S, Cayman/Cayman S, NB 996 and NB 997 (on 997, rear width is a little narrow, but still looks really nice)

Price reduced!

Ok guys, I am dropping the price to $2100 for this wheel & tire package! In my opinion, this is a great deal, and you should pick these up while there are still a couple track days left in the year to enjoy them. I am willing to separate wheels and tires, contact me to work something out.

Thanks guys, looking forward to doing business with you. Remember, these will fit Boxster, Cayman/Cayman S, 996NB and 997NB, lots of fitment options!

I may be interested. Do you have shipping boxes? I don't mind if they're dirty as I won't be using them on a concours car

Ohan -

Just a thought, but you may want to look into shipping these bulky items (seats, wheels/tires, etc.) via Greyhound Package Express. Yes - the BUS company!!

I recently bought a Sparco Evo2 seat and the seller suggested this method of shipment from 2 states away from me. It was 1/4th (!!) the price of traditional shipping, and the seat shipped overnight to my local bus depot. It arrived the next day without any problems, but they do offer shipping insurance, which I would certainly recommend.

The only negative is that you and your buyer must go to your respective local bus terminals - there is no delivery/pickup offered directly to your address. But for the HUGE cost savings and speed of delivery, I have NO problem running down to the terminal myself!!

Oh, and BTW -

If those were 18x12 rear wheels, I would be all over them at this price for my '07 997S!!

Good luck with your sale !

The offsets are in the ad. Too small for your turbo.

I asked CCW to take a look at the ad and check if the fitment would be okay for my narrow body 996. Sounds like this would be a better fit for a Cayman or a 997 than my car. This was their reply:

if the specs are stated correctly, it was built as a cayman package,
fronts are standard 997 fittment (usually needs a 6mm spacer to run on the front of a 964/993/996/boxster)
rears are likely to be too far out for the standard body 996, even at 10" width

COnfusion

Hey guys, to clear up confusion on a couple points...

The original fitment for these wheels WAS a cayman S, just so you all know. However, I DID test fit these on my '99 996 C2 (never used them, only test fitted them in the driveway to see if they'd fit, that was before I parted out my 996 and bought my 997).

Thanks guys. Sorry for the confusion!

Looks like a great deal - rims and tires, too! At $525/corner, looks hard to beat. Wish I hadn't just got a set (at considerably more money!) or I'd jump on them! BTW, what do those CCWs weigh? Best of luck for your sale!
