I had these headers were on my 2003 Porsche 996TT for 9 months. I originally paid $1249.99 for these headers. The headers are in great shape, no dings or cracks of any kind. Flanges are laser cut for a precision fit. Each header features a highly engineered collector to keep your turbo spooling faster then stock while creating additional horsepower and torque. Tested on a 2001 996TT with factory K16 turbos, these headers added almost 10 wheel horsepower. As tested on a 997TT, the headers gained almost 20 ft/lbs of torque. In addition to improving performance, the headers also change the tone of your vehicle. Adding a deeper sound and making the turbo whistle more audible.

how much work are they to install?

 

After the car was jacked up, it only took me an hour with basic hand tools (wrench, rachet and socket). I would suggest spraying the 3 bolts around the turbo side with WD-40 so that they are easier to break free. Other than that, it's a simple job.
