I took a little road-trip over the last 5 days - Montana to LA and back. The main reason for the trip was to pick up a set of GT3 seats and I was glad to have them.
I was also looking for wheels and tires for the track and SCM3 and I agreed on $850 for the set. I would meet him Sunday afternoon, 3/14. His name is Vik. he never said what his last name was.
Long story short - he didn't show. Oddly enough, he wouldn't answer his cell phone, which has no greeting, just the robot voice 'Leave a message for 818-903-2434' ... when 8:00pm arrived I texted him one last time asking what it'd take to buy the wheels.
he now wanted $1000 ... said he had a buyer at that price.
On the way home I connected w/ another seller who had the same wheels+tires for $700 ... which I bought.
People, rennlist has multiple sets of these wheels for $600 - $800 ...
Enjoy that extra $150, Vik.

I apologized a couple times telling you my dilemma with the day. I had several interested buyers and at the time was taking offers. Yes i did say I would take 850 and you came by. I didnt get home until passed 6pm (which i kept in contact with you throughout the day). I was going through the mountains all day with no service (gf was extremely pissed at me as well).
You texted me asking for what price i wanted, i responded telling you what my father wants (since it is my fathers wheels). I responded and you told me I dont care what your father wants. I found this to be very rude and just let the whole thing go.
You got your wheels/tires cheaper, good for you. Enjoy them and leave your personal agenda's alone. Posting my cell phone number, you honestly have some issues which i found out from your texts.
This sale is for a pretty much barely used set, anyone that wants to get a mint condition setup with expensive brand new tires let me know.
