This padded leather sport steering wheel is a factory option (code XPA). This one is stone gray. Airbag not included, but your existing sport (round) airbag can be used.

Photo shows XPA wheel on left, and standard sport wheel on right. The blue tape was cut to fit the circumference of the grip on the standard wheel. The XPA grip circumference is about 1/4" larger. The combination of the padding and the high quality smooth leather, compared to the plastic feel of the standard wheel, is exquisite. Find one and feel the difference.
Will contribute up to $15 for shipping to lower 48. I will mount the wheel for anyone who can bring their car to me (in Orange County).

This wheel costs over $1300 at Sunset and Suncoast Porsche, and is not always available.

 

You mentioned that it is Stone Grey, it almost looks black. Would you be able to post a few more pics, thanks

 

Here are a couple of photos of the wheel when mounted in my Targa. It is definitely stone gray. What might be throwing you is that the leather XPA wheel is built on a black base that is covered in gray leather, whereas the non-leather wheel is built using a gray base that is not covered with leather. So the inside of the hubs are a different color.

 

Beautiful wheel at a great price. If anyone has a grey interior... they oughta jump on this. Once you feel that wheel in your hands the standard sport wheel doesn't cut it.
