it was removed from my turbo by the AD. no aftermarket parts can be on the car in order to be certified. my V1 is used in 3 cars I just stick it on the window and plug it in.

 

I'll chime in too that this is a good deal, probably about 1/3 to 1/2 what it would cost to have done. The autodims present a problem to the techs for etching, I guess it can be easily ruined while attempting. Finding one already done at this price is a really good deal.

 

996TT and 997TT same? and where did you place the main unit that has to be visible to pick up signals??
