Generation 2 (997.2) Remote Key Head

Category: Accessories
Price: $120
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo, Porsche Boxter/Cayman
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

Brand New In Box (unwrapped packaging) Gen 2 Remote Key Head

I ordered this from Suncoast Parts as backup, but don't need it anymore. They feel much more sturdier and (in my opinion) look better than the Gen 1 key head. The housing includes all the electronics inside so it can be used as a replacement key (need to program at dealership) or as an upgrade (just replace the shell of your 997.1 key).

Do a search at Suncoast Parts - they are $132+tax+shipping. Let's give it a try here for $120 shipped.

(the picture includes my 2nd key - the sale is just for ONE brand new in box key head)

Price lowered to $110 shipped!

SOLD!

Sorry, I believe this will only work for 2 button 997 keys, unless someone can confirm otherwise.

No interest? Now $110 shipped. The key honestly looks and feels much nicer than the Gen 1 keys.

Here's a quote from Suncoast

"Upgrade to the newer 2009-style key head! Features a black key housing with a chrome key holder at the top. This housing looks and feels more substantial than the stock housing. Fits 2005-2009 Carrera models. "
