If you want to upgrade definitely go with the 76. The A3071s will not produce much more power and will have more lag than the A28s. A good number of folks are running 3076s on stock blocks.
As you know, you can blow an engine with any turbo even stock if something unexpected happens. If I went to the A3076s I would get a conservative tune and call it a day.
