FS: 2004 Turbo GT3 OEM 18" Wheels

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $1650
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Non-Turbo
Location (State): CO
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

FS: One set of 4 18" OEM GT3 style wheels. These are the gunmetal gray/silver finish and came from the factory on my 996 Turbo. They're 18" and 8.5" front and 11" rear. One of the wheels has some light curb damage.

Somebody stole my digital camera out of my car so I don't have any great pics of it, just cell phone pics.

$1650 shipped buys them. It's about $150-175 to ship them anywhere in the US so the price is basically $1500 plus shipping. This is a very solid price. You can get replica wheels for this price but these are OEM and worth way more than what I'm asking. I'm taking into account $150 to fix the one wheel with the curb damage to like new, otherwise the price would be higher. This is LIGHT curb damage and I didn't bother to get it fixed since it really isn't very noticeable unless you get within less than 3 feet. Wheels are round and true. They'll come with worn out Contis on the rears, while the fronts will last through another set of Contis if you put them on the rear. I wouldn't mix tires on a Porsche so either you can use them with the front tires if you buy Contis or you can replace all 4 tires. I'm just leaving the tires on because the rims are much better protected during shipping that way.

You can review my feedback for things I've sold on eBay here:
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...ab=AllFeedback

I've never gotten a negative in 8.5 years period, with over half of my 130 feedback coming as a seller. You don't go that long without ever getting a negative without being a stand-up seller (and buyer).

This is a heck of a price for these wheels and I honestly could get more if I bought a digital camera and took good pictures but I'd just like to get them out of my garage. I have 3 car projects going with 2 that have parts being sold and I just don't feel like taking the time.

How do you know they came from the factory? Was it possible to order the GT3 wheels from the factory for NB 996? Thanks!

They're on my window sticker as an option so I know they're factory, plus they have Porsche part numbers on them. I don't know if you could get them for the NB 996 or not but I believe so.

I've tried searching every brochure from 2004 and I couldn't find OEM GT3 wheels as a factory option for either WB or NB. Anyone have a recommended source?

If it was possible to get the OEM GT3 wheels for a NB 996 from the factory, I would definitely be interested in the wheels. (SCCA stock class autox rules only allow wheels that were factory options or aftermarket wheels that have the same dimensions as factory installed wheels). Thanks!
