I can testify that this is a great upgrade. Though it works fine alone (I am told) when coupled with the Fabspeed mufflers (and a set of equal length headers) which is the config I run in my car, they make for some great sound, easier breathing (as evidenced as an ability to rev more readily) and seemingly a bit more nudge in the mid-range. Seems like a good price too (I have no knowledge and/or affiliation with the seller).

+1. I had it on my old 4S. Planning to buy one for the GT3.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yes the X Pipe Sport Cat will work perfectly with the PSE muffler because it just replaces the stock restrictive catalytic converters.

We will be releasing the X Pipe Sport Cat for the 996 GT3 in the next few days, so let me know if you are interested and I can offer you a 6speed member discount on it. The X Pipe Sport Cat for the 996 GT3 is $1595 so I can offer members a $100 discount.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
