Looking for a pair of the older style GT28 turbos with the k16 hot side housing. New or used is fine. I'll make a fair offer, but if they are too much I will simply buy newer technology.

I keep finding out that there are many variants of these turbos. I'm looking for the GT28/k16 that has the Garrett housing on the cool side and the k16 hot side. I think that it might have been built by protomotive, but I'm not sure.

 

These are the GT28/16 with garrett housing and k16 hot side. They were built by tial for Evoms. These are the ones that started it all.

 

i have a set on my car about to come off Headers & gt28/k16 setup send me an offer and we'll see what we can work out.

 

I'm trying to replace a turbo that I have. Mine has a cool side housing that has Garrett cast in the housing. It does not have the blue metal plate. I have a picture posted in the following thread:

Mine also have Blouch wastegates. The ones on eBay do not appear to be the same. OS, do yours look like this? If so, how many miles do you have on them?

 

ill look at the pics i have as the car is in storage in tx and im working in florida,

ive put about 2000 traffic type miles on them and 8k road trips miles 2 trips across country on them.
