SOLD!!! THANKS

Well the time has come to start selling stuff off the car again. The car should be gone in a few months (this time for sure) and I'd like to start getting rid of some things before then. This is my 3rd set of wheels, only used in the summer. I was going to sell them with the car but as we all know we never get our money back on mods.

This is the best price I've seen them go for so please DO NOT send me an offer that says "dude I've got $1,000 cash". Not trying to be a jerk but I'm sure you guys understand. I believe that Tirerack still sells them for around $3,500. I rarely see them for sale. I'd prefer to do a local sale (NY/NJ/CT Region). I'm asking for $17
50.

These are O.Z. Racing Tuner System Superleggera III wheels.
I'm pretty sure these are the exact specs (I'll double check tomorrow):
Rear: 19 x 11.5 et40
Front: 19x8.5 et46

Right now I have them painted in all Black . I painted them because in case I wanted to change to a different color scheme I could strip them easily. Powdercoating is more permanent so I didn't want to use that process. Everything is easy to strip and get back the polished aluminum lips. I also had them painted in a custom Xirallic Gray with the polished lip before. I added pics of both below. The car is wet in the pictures with all black so those are wet drips in case you are wondering. IF you want the wheels but want a different color scheme I can get it arranged for a VERY SMALL expense.

They are all in great shape with no problems. They DO NOT come with tires. I do have an extra set of brand new tires (305/25/19 Pirelli P-Zero) for the rear if you are interested that we can work out a price for.

...........................

I haven't seen these much on a 996TT in person but they are one of the best wheels I've ever owned on any of my cars. Very lightweight, great looking, proven-performance, and very solid.

Usually there is a considerable difference between 18"s and 19"s. In most cases people just buy "pretty" wheels to make the car look better with no consideration to the ride of the car, you just kind of deal with it. The comfort is almost the same (dare I say better, I'll explain ahead) and the extra inch provides more direct steering.

These wheels weigh a little bit less than your OEM 18"s Turbo Twists. The biggest reason why I chose these wheels was the weight factor. Each front wheel weighs (approx) 1.5lb less than your stock and (approx) 4lbs less in your rear. That is a HUGE difference considering these are 1" bigger in diameter. They are built Forged for two purposes: optimal strength and light weight. The stance-setup is nicely aggressive too so you get a more flush wheel-to-fender look than your OEM wheels.

Another great thing is that they are 3-piece so you can disassemble them with no problems if you want to refinish, repair, customize etc. And they look great in basically any color combination you can think of. Maybe in a few years I'll jump into a 997/998 and I will definitely get another set. Throughout the years I've gone through about 25+ wheel setups and these could easily be the best I've had on any of my cars.

...............................

FYI IF YOU OWN A NARROWBODY 996

Stock Carrera Narrow Body OEM Wheels:
Rear: 18x10 et65
Front: 18x8 et50

OZ Racing Superleggera III for 996TT Fitment
Rear: 19 x 11.5 et40
Front: 19x8.5 et46

REAR ADJUSTMENT
Outer Position: Extend 44mm
(position of the outside edge of the wheel)

FRONT ADJUSTMENT
Outer Position: Extend an extra 10mm
(position of the outside edge of the wheel)
