Up for sale is a set of used and defective Miltek 987 headers / exhaust manifold. These were on my 06 Cayman S and were removed a few years ago.

Once again, they are defective. I took them off my Cayman but never got around to calling Miltek to correct the defect since it was still under warranty at the time. With a little bit of leg work someone can get these to be repaired either by Miltek or a local fab shop.

The defect? They came with 200 cell cats, however the catalytic material on one side is completely gone while the other side seem to be in good shape. I removed the set when I had a check engine light.

These retailed for $3000 back in 06, i'm not sure how much they are worth today, let alone with this defect.

Hopefully someone can make good use of these. I was told that one can either replace the cat on the defect side, or remove the cats on both side for a race application. If a local shop want to grab these from me to repair and sell in exchange for future servicing credit, that'd be alright. I'm in Irvine, CA.
