Looking to buy a used SA 2005 rated full-face helmet. I'm doing an HPDE event at VIR in May. This is my first DE event, so dont want to drain the bank account for this one event (just yet).

I realize the 2010 helmets are out now, so hoping to pick up someone's used 2005 for around $75 ish.

DE may not require an SA helmet.

Borrow a motorcycle helmet if you're unsure about future DE's, or ask your local organizer if there are loaners at the track. If you're going to wear someone else's lid, why dish out $$ for it.

Another alternative... new SA2005 open face helmet for little more than 100 bucks.

 

Check out eBay You can a snell 2010 helmet for about $125. It will be good until 2020.
