SOLD k16/k24 hybrid turbos, Wastegate Upgrade Kit, & 5 BAR FPR

Category: Accessories
Price: $1500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): LA
Item Condition: Brand New

Just took a leisurely drive through the Louisiana countryside and have come to terms with the fact that I can't possibly have any use for more power in my car.

I am selling a turn-key turbo upgrade kit here with everything you need to make significant power with the exception of a tune. Look here for a reference on tuners---------->

The turbos are new (or if rebuilt- perfect) and never installed, the upgraded Wastegate is new and never installed, the 5 BAR FPR is used.

The entire kit would be about 3 thousand if bought in parts. 1500 and it's yours.

SOLD

Well, basically this is the best of both worlds on the k16s and the k24s. The k16 side of the turbo keeps it "Fast spooling" while the k24 wheel gives you the upper end advantage.

WHP is tough to gauge because all the dynos read so different. I was told they will get you to 500 at the wheels with the 5 bar fpr. More accurate gauge is that a member here used to run 11.5s with them. They are a very nice little package.

Let me know and ill send the paypal info

Sounds like a fantastic deal- $1500 + tune upgrade and your setup. I'm thinking of the 16G wheel upgrade but need more seat time to earn it.

I THINK they are.

Kevin and I discussed the turbos before I bought them and he said to get some pictures of them after I got them home. I was going to buy the software from him

I never followed through with that because I didn't install them, but I highly highly recommend going to him for tuning these things. He knows the k16/24 and his knowledge of porsche turbo cars is truly amazing.

PS- Pending Sale

Soooo tempting! But I think the wife might shank me in the middle of the night if I spend anymore money on the Porsche.

I have 2 issues...
My car is chipped stage 2 unitronics,,, with stock k24s
But the old owner sold the k24s and put the stock turbos before he sold it.

So I figure it would be cheaper to buy stock k24s then rechip the car, unless these turbos will run on the same map as k24's

And last thing, Im afraid ill have problem of reliable with these turbos... Are they just as realiable as OEM or prone to problems?
thanks

Yeah I think it was Mike Kelly who was running a k24 tune and made great power.

They would be more reliable than a used set of k24s, or equally as reliable as a new set of k16 or k24s. They are factory parts.

SOLD

someone should jump on the ones sambo has as these are very good street and de type turbos. May not pull on highway like a 24 18g but that is only going to be up top. Down low for torque and quick punch these things are strong. I would definately use kevin for tuning as he knows these things intimately. I have never tried it but I wonder if someone like tony at epl could dyno tune these with bigger injectors and stock38bar for even more power. I think these will handle much more bar that the stock 1 bar most are tuned for. Kevin made it sound like even with 5 bar you are close to running out of fuel if you push the boost too far. I love the turbos and kevins tuning!
